A field visit by the Society on Saturday 7th May 2016 to investigate industrial remains of the Cefn Cribwr area. The tour, led by John and Carol Mason from the Cefn Junction Signal Box Museum, included Cefn Cribwr brickworks, John Bedford’s ironworks, Coke Ovens, Cefn Cribwr drift mine and an inspection of the ironworks boiler remains and various other minor industries before concluding our visit at the Museum itself.
