The society has produced a welter of printed material over its long history and all of that material which is still available is in this section of the website, together with an index to the topics covered.
In addition we have had access to three of the Bridgend Guides which were published in the course of the twentieth century. These make fascinating reading, both for the descriptions of assets which the town no longer has but also for the advertisements offering a view into the services and products of the past.
In these world-weary days it is refreshing to feel the swell of civic contentment which these guides exude, leaving us with the impression of a town at peace with itself
